The wind is invisible, but its effects are tangible. Rather than trying to represent it directly, I am drawn to its traces: the way it deforms, alters, or displaces the elements around it. Each image in this series bears witness to this discreet yet omnipresent presence, an invisible force that leaves its mark on everything it passes through.
The title Aux quatre vents evokes the idea of this dispersal, of a breath that moves everywhere, yet in a way that is unique to each place. There is a tension between the movement of the wind and the stillness of objects, but also between this invisible force and the human gestures that seek to contain or tame it.
